Ingolf Gad Oesterby became fed up with the Danish welfare state - the rules, the restrictions, and the expectations - so he made a decision. He bought an old bus and moved far into the woods. For more than 25 years he has been living there in solitude.

As he states: “I do whatever I want at whatever time I want.” He lives off of the forest, and hopes to die there, too.
